Nature Nippers is a fun and educational group for 3–5 year olds and their guardians.

The group meets each month from April to October on a Monday.

The sessions last an hour and run from 1.30–2.30pm.

13 May – Little homes for little people 

We’ll find out what lives in the woodland of Hill of Tarvit and will have a go at making our own little homes.

10 June – Worm charming

We’re going to find out all about earthworms and will take a walk with our friend Super Worm.

8 July – Meadow minibeasts

We’ll explore the wildflower meadow at Hill of Tarvit, finding out about the minibeasts that call it home.

12 August – Butterflies flutterbies

We’re going on a butterfly hunt, where we’ll learn about the lifecycle of a butterfly and come away with our own arts and craft butterfly.

9 September – Twit Twoo

We’ll find out about the owls that live at Hill of Tarvit and hear the story of Little Owl.

7 October – Hibernation time

We’ll learn about the animals that hibernate at Hill of Tarvit – some fly and some are prickly – and then we’ll do some arts and crafts to finish.

Outdoor clothing is required.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
