Weddings

One of the most spectacular wedding venues in Scotland

Mar Lodge is a wonderful venue for civil, religious and humanist ceremonies.

Inside the Lodge, you can exchange your vows in the Great Hall, on the balcony of the Grand Staircase or in the bright and spacious Drawing Room. Ideal for drinks receptions, the stylish interconnecting public rooms allow guests to relax, mingle and enjoy the surroundings, before dining in the beautifully appointed Craggan Ballroom or elegant Dining Room.

From the Lodge, a short stroll through the grounds leads to the impressive Stag Ballroom, a unique timber building displaying some 2,500 stag antlers dating from the Victorian era. The ballroom is ideal for ceremonies, dinners and dancing the night away!

For larger wedding receptions, a marquee can be erected on the estate’s vast lawns.

Mar Lodge Estate is famed for its dramatic moorland, mountainsides and pine forests. Breathtaking scenery comes as standard! Choose your perfect spot in which to exchange your vows or take absolutely gorgeous wedding photos.

Part of our Connoisseurs’ Collection, the Lodge contains 5 luxurious Adam Revival-style apartments offering self-catering accommodation for up to 33 guests.

With our bunkhouse accommodation sleeping 12, Mar Lodge Estate can accommodate a total of 45 guests.
