Priorwood Garden

Dedicated to the art of dried flower arranging, with an impressive variety of heritage apples

Things to do

Self-guided tours

Outside, wander past herbaceous borders and herb gardens before ambling around the tranquil orchard and the woodland area, where shade-loving plants and hardy shrubs thrive.

Sniff out the scented blooms which are used to make pot pourri.

Look out for four wrought-iron inserts in the garden wall, beautifully decorated with mulberries and thought to be the work of either Robert Lorimer or Edwin Lutyens.
