Facilities & access

The byre has an uneven floor and lighting is low throughout the property.

We have an ongoing programme of accessible content development. Detailed accessibility guides for the most visited Trust places are available on our Accessibility pages as well as links to useful resources.

We’d love you to visit the Euan’s Guide website to review the accessibility of Trust places and tell us (and others) what’s good and where we need to do better.

Accessible parking

An accessible toilet is available.

There are a number of activity sheets for children.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please note there is livestock in the fields immediately adjacent to the property.

Outwith normal opening hours, we’re happy to arrange guided tours for groups of 6 or more people. For groups of 12 or more, we offer a discounted rate.

There is a small car park close to the property. 


Although the reception building is wheelchair-accessible, the longhouse is not suitable for wheelchairs.
