Hill of Tarvit Mansion & Garden

We offer guided tours of the mansion house for all ages.

There are lovely walks through the woodlands up to the top of the Tarvit Hill, from where you can see as far as the Perthshire hills on a clear day.

We’re developing parts of the gardens into a plant finder’s garden, which reflects the collecting ethos of the Sharp family. Follow the special trail to discover many fascinating and unusual plants along the borders in the north garden.

If you enjoy a game of golf, you’re in for a real treat here. Kingarrock Golf Course is an original 9 hole hickory course, completely restored for all to play with authentic 1920s clubs – visit the Kingarrock Hickory Golf website to book tee times.

We also have lawn games including putting and croquet.

The mansion house is the perfect venue for weddings and private events. The lower lawn offers a great space for a marquee, with the mansion providing a stunning backdrop. Please see our venue hire pages for more information.
