Pitmedden Garden

Re-created Scottish Renaissance walled garden with unique and vibrant floral designs

Things to do

Self-guided tours

The heart of the property is the formal walled parterre garden. There are also extensive herbaceous borders with an abundance of colour and scent. Fountains, topiary, sundials and a fascinating herb garden add to the sense of discovery.

The surrounding woods are a haven for birds and other wildlife.

The adjacent Museum of Farming Life boasts an extensive collection of domestic and agricultural artefacts.

Guided tours

We offer guided tours for groups.

Children's activities

Children will enjoy discovering the nature hut on the woodland walk. In the walled garden, they can follow the ‘Ben the Garden Cat Trail’ and play children’s Garden Bingo.
