Things to do

SELF-GUIDED TOURS

Self-guided tours run on a Sunday from April to June from 11am to 4.15pm (last entry). In July and August, they run 7 days a week and from September to October only on weekends from 11am to 4.30pm (last entry).

GUIDED TOURS

Guided tours are conducted every half hour on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday (April to May) and every half hour on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (September to October). In June, they run from Monday to Saturday.

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES

There is a children’s quiz available for the castle.

NATURE SPOTTING

Fyvie Loch supports large numbers of wildfowl. Swans, coots, mallards and moorhens are joined in the winter by greylag geese, tufted ducks and goldeneyes. Ospreys occasionally visit to fish in the loch.

Outdoor activities

In the grounds there is a pretty walled garden, a lochside walk and extensive parkland.

HIRE A VENUE

The castle is available to hire for weddings and other functions.
