Hop to Brodie Castle for springtime fun

The Playful Garden at Brodie Castle opens this Easter – find out more about all the fun that’s waiting for families.

The countdown is on for the opening of the Playful Garden at Brodie Castle, one of the National Trust for Scotland’s most exciting projects ever!

This unique garden is just a short hop from the historic castle’s front door, and celebrates its long and colourful history in a fun way.

The garden is home to a fascinating menagerie of characters, inspired by stories from the characterful Clan Brodie, who called the castle home for over 400 years. Centre stage is Brodie Bunny, the 6.5 metre high white rabbit relaxing on the grassy slopes, just waiting for visitors to arrive. Sparkling unicorns are ready to inspire children's imaginations and the xylophones are all tuned and waiting to make magical music. Watch out for the toad too – there’s a surprise for visitors trying to sneak past this cheeky resident.

Children from Dyke primary school meet Brodie Bunny for the first time.
