Grand fortress and estate | C17th | Fyvie | AB53 8JS

Scottish Baronial-style castle dating back 800 years and boasting lavish interiors with very impressive exterior. Highlights include a grand fireplace in the entrance hall, vast drawing room, dining room, billiards room and a wood-panelled gallery hung with tapestries and complete with an organ. Outside, the walled garden pattern echoes the ornate interior plaster ceilings. Wider estate features forests, a loch and boat house, and a glass-roofed racquets court with a wooden single bowling lane (available to film as a backdrop only). The racquets court is a great space for a set build. Ample parking available.

The castle also offers accommodation (for 16 people) or filming in Preston Tower Apartment – perfect for a shoot-and-stay location (subject to availability). Please contact the Filming Manager for enquiries to film in the apartment.
