Falls of Glomach

Remote landscape | dramatic waterfall | Ross-shire | IV40 8DS

One of the highest and most isolated waterfalls in Britain. The waterfall is 113m high and tumbles down a steep narrow cleft in the stone; the thundering water is often shrouded in atmospheric mist. Access to the falls involves a 8 mile hike; location only suited to small, adventurous crews. Car parking available at the Kintail Rangers’ office.
