Iconic battlefield | Near Inverness | IV2 5EU

Large battlefield where the final Jacobite Rising came to a tragic end in 1746. Modern visitor centre has timber walls, a roof-top viewing terrace and roof garden. Battlefield features a Victorian memorial cairn and a restored 18th-century thatched cottage. Parking available, but the site can be very busy in peak visitor periods.

Due to the sensitive nature of the site, we ask for a synopsis before approving filming.
