Vast tower house and estate | C17th | near Inverurie | AB51 7LD

One of the largest tower houses in Scotland, with a core that dates back to the 15th century. Exteriors are a great example of an early 17th-century laird’s castle, although interiors have been modernised and changed over the years. Interior highlights include a vaulted dining room, ancient kitchen, library, stone spiral staircase and roof-top round tower viewing platform.

Wider estate features attractive parkland, a Victorian walled garden and a large events field for outdoor filming or battle scenes – power and water available. Exteriors are a great double for Balmoral Castle. Ample parking available.
