Highland crofting estate and dramatic landscapes | Near Kyle | IV40 8DN

2,500ha estate comprising rocky, moorland-covered hills interspersed with lochs, woodlands and crofting settlements. Also features a long indented coastline scattered with offshore islands and white sandy beaches. Great examples of Scottish crofting landscapes with small whitewashed houses, stone barns, corrugated tin roofs and wildflower-rich meadows. Estate includes Scotland’s rainforest, a rare habitat of magical and ancient oak and birch woodlands with carpets of mosses and ferns (SSSI status). Ample parking available.
