The Butler’s Pantry
On tours of Fyvie Castle it’s often wondered why a kitchen isn’t seen, but there’s a good reason for that – the castle’s kitchen is now the location of our tearoom!
Lord Leith made a number of improvements to the castle in the late 19th century, and he had a new, modern kitchen installed in this space. You can still admire the then cutting-edge ranges, all lit by electric lights.
While you take in the surrounds of this Victorian kitchen you can enjoy some of the wonderful treats on offer. We offer soup-and-sandwich lunches, delicious sandwiches and toasties, traybakes and cakes, teas and coffees, ice creams, soft drinks and children’s lunch boxes.
If the Scottish weather permits, we also offer dog-friendly, outdoor seating where you can bask in the shadows of the Leith Tower, while your four-legged friends enjoy a drink.
Please note that, on occasion, we may only be able to offer a hot drinks-and-cakes service.
