Sunday 23 November – The history of Crathes’s Walled Garden
Join us for a talk by Crathes’s Visitor Services Supervisor (and former Archivist and Gardener), exploring over 500 years of history of the Walled Garden, from its creation and design, to how much (and little) it has changed over the years.
Saturday 7 February – History and conservation of Crathes Castle’s famous painted ceiling
Join us for a talk by Crathes’s Collections Care Supervisor, exploring the history of the painted ceilings – from their creation and style to how the National Trust for Scotland currently looks after them.
Price: £20
The talk will start at 11am and will last for roughly 1 hour. The cream tea will begin at 12pm.
