Tour: Brodie Castle, Sunday 10th August

Tours of Brodie Castle for Sunday, 10th August only

Due to an external event on Sunday, 10th August, access to the grounds of Brodie Castle is limited. Castle tours are still available, and access to our Playful Gardens, Victorian Shrubbery, Adventure Playground and Castle Cafe is still possible.

You are welcome to enjoy the Historic Wheels Vintage Car Rally on our grounds, however, this is separate, paid event and tickets can be purchased from a member of their team at the gates throughout the Estate.

Instructions on how to access the Castle will be given to you at the Welcome Centre where you should check in at least 15 minutes before the tour time.

Visiting the castle is by guided tour only. We will offer 6 pre-bookable tours for Sunday, 10th August only.

Tours are led by one of our knowledgeable guides, taking in the main rooms of the castle and covering the history of the Brodie family.

The castle houses a magnificent collection of furniture, ceramics and artwork, including works by 17th-century Dutch masters. It also boasts an impressive library containing over 6,000 volumes.

Duration

Approximately 1 hour.

Accessibility

The castle is a historic building and therefore tours involve steps, staircases and uneven surfaces throughout.

Meeting point

Please arrive at the Welcome Centre at least 15 minutes in advance of your tour.
