The castle is 2 miles north of Brodick CalMac ferry terminal.

The castle is a 30-minute walk from the small Co-op car park in the centre of the village.

Coach parking is available at the visitor centre.

We welcome dogs to the garden and country park but ask that all pets are kept on a lead and under supervision at all times. Only assistance dogs are allowed to enter the castle and walled garden.

There’s one 22kW electric car charging post in the car park.

There’s a large car park, approximately 200m from the castle.

Parking is free for members.

Picnic tables are situated next to the visitor centre, in front of the castle and at the play park.

Toilets are located at the café, castle and ranger centre.

Walks
  • The ground floor of the castle is accessible via a small ramp from the path outside.
  • Access is available to the first floor of the castle via a lift – please check in at the gift shop to gain entry to this area.
  • The gift shop and Woodland Café are wheelchair accessible.
  • Some areas of the grounds are suitable for wheelchairs.
  • The top part of the walled garden is accessible.
  • The paths to the walled garden and wider estate are uneven and may be unsuitable for wheelchair users.
  • There is a view of the walled garden from the accessible Heather House.
