Things to do

3D Experience

Located near the historic city of Stirling and in the vicinity of the battleground, the visitor centre expertly harnesses 3D technology to bring this thrilling chapter of Scotland’s story to life. Come and experience medieval combat like never before and discover more about this crucial event in Scottish history.

Experience fully immersive 3D scenes as you prepare for battle, and enjoy animated video tales that explain the background to the conflict.

Take part in a strategic Battle Game led by the Battle Master, and determine the outcome of the Battle of Bannockburn. The Battle is followed by a demonstration of how the battle was won in 1314. If you’d rather not participate in the game, you can watch friends and family play from the gallery.
