Weddings

Please note that we are fully booked for 2023. Due to a planned refurbishment within the castle and Eisenhower Suites, we will not be taking any 2024/25 bookings including Ceremony Only. This will enable us to upgrade the property so we can offer an enhanced wedding experience in fabulous surroundings for many years to come.

We will have more information to share late 2024 and we thank you for your patience during this time.

A Scottish castle wedding venue

Exchange your vows in one of the many unique settings – from the beautiful Orangery or Camellia House with its floor-to-ceiling windows, to the dramatic Robert Adam Oval Staircase, the elegant Round Room or the Viewing Platform overlooking the Ayrshire coastline ... the choice is yours!

Welcome your guests in the Armoury, with its world-famous collection of old pistols and swords before leading everyone to the ornate State Dining Room, adorned with historical family portraits, for a lavish wedding breakfast.

Your guests will be kept entertained with a private tour of the castle whilst you get those all-important wedding photos.

An outdoor wedding venue

There are hundreds of acres of parks, woodland and beaches to play with – the only limit is your imagination!

Accommodation
The Eisenhower Apartment, gifted to the US President in 1945 in recognition of his role in the Second World War, is located on the top floor of the castle. The Eisenhower comprises six tastefully appointed double bedrooms accommodating a maximum of 12 guests and includes a private drawing room overlooking the Ayrshire coastline – all accessed using the original 1920s elevator.

Within the estate there are also five beautifully appointed self-catering cottages: Ardlochan Lodge, Brewhouse Flat, Royal Artillery Cottage, North Segganwell and South Segganwell. Each cottage can sleep up to four guests and can be hired for a week or a short break.

For further information on accommodation, please contact our events co-ordinators. They’ll be delighted to discuss your requirements in more detail, arrange a visit to the castle and help plan your event.
