The tale of a silk dress: part 3

Read the final entry in our imagined diary of a beautiful silk dress, as we explore the metamorphosis from painted cloth to prized possession.

A student’s view: a poster from 1920

In a new venture at the Trust, we’re asking 17–23-year-olds to join us in researching objects in our collection. Here, we mark Remembrance Day 2020 by looking at a poster from Kellie Castle, made 100 years ago to raise funds for a Scottish National War Memorial.
