Come and meet Santa in our beautiful Brodie Castle Library – you’ll find him sitting cosily next to the lovely warm fireplace, of course! The little ones can tell him their Christmas wishlist and receive a special gift.

You will start off your visit with some Christmas crafts and then get to meet the main man himself! Afterwards, enjoy a festive story and get your chance to take a photo by the beautiful Christmas tree in our Drawing Room. If Santa has placed your child on the good list (we are sure he will!), they will receive a certificate and can then wander down to our Playful Garden to receive a warming hot chocolate as a special treat to say well done.

Your Santa visit is for up to 10 minutes. You can bring up to three children to your 10-minute time slot. If you have more children in your group, please book the relevant amount of tickets in the same session or, failing that, it may be possible to book back-to-back sessions – eg book 10.10 and 10.20. All children paid for will receive a gift.

To enjoy all the pre-visit festivities, please arrive at least 20 minutes before your Santa visit time.

We also have an exciting Christmas trail for the family, which is an excellent way to burn off that energy in the lead-up to the big day! Purchase your trail tickets as an ‘add on’ to your Santa visit for only £2.75 per child and receive your trail and a prize. You can also purchase the trail on the day.

Is there parking?

Yes. There is a £5 parking charge. Members enjoy free parking on presentation of their National Trust for Scotland car parking sticker. If you are interested in becoming a member, please speak to one of our team or head to our Join page.

Do you offer refunds?

It is your responsibility to check your order and tickets throughout the online purchase process; mistakes cannot always be rectified. Tickets are non-refundable, but date changes may be possible in exceptional circumstances upon request, provided you contact us in advance of your booked date and there is availability. Please note this is an incredibly busy event.

How many adults can I bring?

Each time slot can accommodate 2 adults per booking. If you wish to bring additional adults inside for the Castle experience, please purchase additional adults as an add on. These are £5 per adult and can be purchased at the initial point of booking or on the day.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket gives access to Brodie Castle’s principal rooms decorated for Christmas, Christmas crafts, a Santa visit for up to 10 minutes, a small gift from the big man himself, a Christmas story, plus a small hot chocolate per child.
