An Account and Bill for £11 drawn by William Burnes against William Campbell.

William Burnes was involved in legal disputes with many of his neighbours. By 1771 he was taking legal action against both William Campbell and Robert Kennedy regarding financial matters.

Here, William is making a claim of an unpaid £11 bill against William Campbell. It is dated 22 June 1770, the year before he took legal action.
