Thatched cottage and museum | C17th | Cromarty | IV11 8XA

Birthplace of inspirational 19th-century geologist, folklorist and fossil hunter. The humble thatched cottage dates from 1698 and adjoins a later Georgian house, which contains a museum dedicated to themes from Hugh Miller’s life. There’s also a small garden and a cobbled courtyard. Both properties are better suited to small, factual crews. On-street parking only.
