Haddo House

Palladian-style stately home | C18th | near Ellon | AB41 7EQ

Designed in the 18th century but remodelled in the 19th century, this stately home has elegant Georgian exteriors and opulent Victorian interiors. Interior highlights include a wood-panelled hall, chapel, bookcase- and bust-lined quadrant corridor, chandeliers, large entertaining rooms with painted ceilings, and a library with secret door. Exteriors include a terrace garden with geometric flower beds and a fountain. The wider estate contains more modern buildings: Haddo House Hall, a 19th-century wood-panelled theatre (a great build space option), and The Peatyards, built in the 1990s and a great office double or production space. Ample parking available.

Haddo Country Park is under the care of Aberdeenshire Council and requires separate permission for filming. Please contact the Haddo team for park permissions.
