Alloa Tower

Medieval keep | Alloa | FK10 1PP

14th-century tower with important medieval features, notably the timber roof structure and stone vaulting in the great hall. The tower was updated in the 18th century to include an Italianate staircase and minstrels’ gallery. Access to the battlements is permitted, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area; access is via a narrow, spiral staircase. Parking available.
