Support Scotland's heritage by giving now to the National Trust for Scotland

We're called the Culzean Young Naturalists' Club (YNC). We're a children's nature club, led by NTS rangers and volunteers.
Anyone aged between 5 and 12 years old can join the YNC. Many join for a whole year. If you're a summer visitor, though, you can join for a Children's Week of activities. (There is also the ECOS team for 12 – 16 year olds).
We're based at Culzean Castle and Country Park. The YNC meet at the Visitor Centre.
The club meets every second Saturday throughout winter, at 10am - 12 noon. During the school holidays, the club meets on weekdays in the Children's Weeks.
Each meeting is an exciting chance to explore the beaches, ponds or woodland at Culzean through activities, trails, games, quizzes or crafts.

Discover amazing creatures in the rock pools; find tadpoles in the pond; listen out for a woodpecker drumming on a tree; spot roe deer tracks in the woods.

We sometimes look at the history of Culzean – and you may meet some of the characters.

There is a small fee to cover costs.

Culzean Country Park was the first country park in Scotland. It covers both the gardens and part of the old Culzean estate. It has woodland, fields, ponds and seashore. The castle was built in the late 1700s.
