Dive into the world of the Keith family, who lived at Pitmedden House in the early 1900s, and enjoy a relaxing cuppa in what used to be their dining room. Our elegant tearoom, with further seating outside on the patio, offers a range of delicious soups as well as sandwiches with imaginative fillings, all freshly made to order. A speciality at Pitmedden is the range of baked treats created in the kitchen using produce from the garden – rhubarb, apples and pears to name but a few. From garden to table is a privilege not every eatery can boast!

We also offer a mouth-watering range of cakes and tray bakes that you’ll find hard to resist, as well as Fair Trade tea and coffee to suit everyone’s taste. Try our scrumptious deluxe hot chocolate of the month – it’ll make your taste buds go wild! If you’re after something more refreshing, try a bottle of Pitmedden’s own apple juice, made from apples grown in the garden.

For a special occasion or just an afternoon catch-up with friends, our traditional Afternoon Tea never disappoints. We especially recommend trying one of our homemade apple and cinnamon scones served with our delicious apple and cinnamon jelly made from apples grown in the walled garden. And if you’re more of a breakfast lover, then our Before-Noon Tea is the perfect way to indulge.
