This traditional kitchen garden would have been initially used to grow food for Harmony House. During the summer months, it’s a feast for the senses, brimming with an array of colours and culinary delights.
We grow a range of vegetables that are sold at the Honesty Shed at Priorwood Garden. Highlights include heritage potato varieties, rhubarb, and asparagus. We also produce and sell soft fruit, including raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, and gooseberries. Moving forward, we’ll be focusing on heirloom varieties, organic gardening methods, and companion planting – a gardening technique in which plants are purposely planted close together to aid each other by keeping pests away, attracting helpful insects, boosting pollination, and improving soil health.
