Planning your visit
Please note that car parking is limited at peak times.
For a visit to the museum and battlefield we recommend approximately 2 hours to make the most of your trip, although avid history fans can easily spend 3–4 hours on site.
Please note that luggage storage is not available.
Drones are not allowed over the battlefield.
There are grazing livestock at this site, so please keep your dog under close control and let the animals have some space. Thank you for showing consideration for the safety of our livestock and wildlife.
Please be aware that honeybees are kept in hives at this site.
Every penny spent on site, from the car park to the café, goes back into helping us conserve the battlefield and protecting our heritage for the future.
