The 2025 Snowdrop Festival will take place from Wednesday 12 February until Sunday 16 February.
The snowdrop festival takes places every February at Branklyn, and is the perfect opportunity for visitors to experience the garden during the winter season when it is otherwise closed.
During the festival you can explore the garden to see the full range of snowdrops, along with many other spring-flowering bulbs. There are over 200 varieties of snowdrop, which were planted in the garden over several years, among swathes of the common snowdrop, Galanthus nivalis. Cultivated varieties include ‘Faringdon Double’, ‘Little Ben’ and ‘Moses Basket’.
You can enjoy some delicious home baking or a light lunch in our traditional tearoom, and our shop offers a wide selection of seeds, plants and gifts to take home with you.
Snowdrops (including several rare varieties) will be available to purchase from our specialist snowdrop seller on selected days during the festival – please check back for further details.
Branklyn Cottage, our on-site holiday accommodation, is also available to book at this special time of year.
