75th anniversary gallery

To mark 75 years of protecting one of Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes, in the summer of 2025 we invited people to show us their best photos of Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve in a number of different categories: Archaeology, Flora, Wildlife, Landscape and Enjoying the Hills.

Award-winning photographer Laurie Campbell judged the entries* and below are the winners of each category, along with a selection of other photographs that reflect our love of Ben Lawers over the past 75 years. The two overall winners enjoyed a special prize of a photography workshop with Laurie.

*We did not receive any competition entries for the Archaeology category.

Archaeology

Wildlife
