Trolley-loads of adventure with Lidl

A copy of the Lidl Book of Big Adventures lies on some grass with daisies. A pair of sunglasses, a football, some colouring pencils and a punnet of strawberries lie around the booklet.
The Lidl Book of Big Adventures will come out four times each year.
We’re joining forces with Lidl to get families exploring Scotland and enjoying its national and natural treasures.

We’ve teamed up with supermarket chain Lidl to create The Lidl Book of Big Adventures series – a seasonal booklet that’s full of ideas for spending fun family time together in Scotland.

The first ever edition launched in July 2019, as the Scottish school holidays get underway and families are making their summer plans.

Three children lie on their tummies on a picnic rug on the lawn in front of Culzean Castle. The girl in the middle is holding a Lidl booklet, with a giant pair of binoculars in front of her. The boys either side are holding enormous pencils.
Young visitors to Culzean Castle try out the first edition of The Lidl Book of Big Adventures.

Issued seasonally, The Lidl Book of Big Adventures has ideas for how the Trust’s places, events and experts can combine with the products offered by Lidl to add up to great family activities.

Activities featured in the summer booklet include inspiration for perfect picnics, a wildlife spotting game and a guide to growing greenery for wee gardeners. Children can collect stickers from Trust places as they tick off the big adventures that they complete.

Copies are available to pick up for free at selected Trust places and all Scottish Lidl stores.
