At number 70 on our 100 Ways list, we provide fun for all the family, including our four-legged companions. Culzean Castle hosts its annual Dog Jamboree on 10 and 11 August, the perfect event for pooches.

Four-legged friends and their human families will be flocking to Culzean Castle on 10 and 11 August as the historic Ayrshire estate hosts its annual Dog Jamboree

One of the most popular events in its summer calendar, it includes a dramatic watersport competition and a dog show with nine categories. Prizes up for grabs include a pastel pet portrait by the talented artist Elspeth Guthrie for Best in Show.

Quote
“Culzean Castle is the pawfect dog-friendly location with beaches, woodland and lots of open green spaces.”
Paige Campbell, Events Manager at Culzean Castle

Culzean Castle isn’t the only location that welcomes dogs though - there are plenty of places to explore with pooches all over the country. Look out for the pawprint on our Planning Your Visit pages and get ready for an adventure.
