Hill House Silver Earrings

In stock

Depicting the iconic Hill House, these earrings are a celebration of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. These stunning earrings are a contemporary piece of jewellery designed exclusively for the National Trust for Scotland by Paula Bolton, inspired by the exterior of the famous building. Mackintosh was arguably Scotland’s most famous architect and designer.

The Hill House, built in the early 1900s, stands as a remarkably complete example of his unique vision. The National Trust for Scotland have restored the building to its former glory, but the external render of the property has not proved watertight.

With the walls gradually become saturated and beginning to crumble, and water threatening the interior, the National Trust for Scotland have embarked on an ambitious project. The Hill House Box project will save the Hill House so it can be enjoyed for many more generations to come.
