National Trust for Scotland staff and contractors have braved the elements during work on a major project to conserve the St Kilda kirk before its 200th anniversary.
A team of climbers, led by Robbie Phillips, has achieved the first ascent of a famous St Kilda sea stack in over 130 years, working with the Trust to plan the ascent safely and sustainably.
We have created a new plan to help us care for St Kilda, focusing on the Trust’s wider strategic objectives of conservation, engagement and sustainability.
