Lottery tickets cost just £1 each – and each week your money will go towards ensuring that our history always has a home and that our countryside remains unspoilt.
As a charity, we’re passionate about protecting Scotland’s natural, built and cultural heritage and sharing our amazing places with everyone. By playing our weekly lottery you’ll be helping us to protect the 300,000 artefacts, 46 Munros, 38 gardens, 27 castles and houses and 8 National Nature Reserves in our care.
Every day, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work to protect the things we most treasure about Scotland, from cleaning our beautiful beaches and maintaining access to mountains to caring for our wonderful wildlife and looking after our gorgeous gardens.

In 2022, £164,342 was raised from ticket sales in our weekly lottery and seasonal raffles, with 47.42% of those proceeds being spent protecting Scotland's heritage. Without the support of players we would not be able to look after the 300,000 artefacts, 46 Munros, 38 gardens, 27 castles and 8 National Nature Reserves in our care. We spent 23.36% on prizes and 29.22% on expenses to help us run our weekly lotteries and seasonal raffle.

In 2022, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 222 in The Scottish Heritage Lottery and 1 in 152 in our seasonal raffle draws. Players in our weekly lotteries and seasonal raffle draws are automatically entered into a weekly Rollover draw in which they could win up to £5,000, since our Rollover prize increases by £100 each week it isn't won (when in 2022, the likelihood of winning was, on average, 1 in 164,044) and if it reaches £5,000, then one lucky player will be guaranteed to win that week (when the likelihood of winning reverts to the above weekly lottery and seasonal raffle draw averages).
It costs £1 per entry and all proceeds support the National Trust for Scotland. Players must be 18 or over to play. Underage gambling is an offence.
