Fundraising from afar

We have established the Canadian National Trust for Scotland Foundation based in Toronto and the National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA based in Boston.

Both bodies help to attract and administer gifts for the Trust and in doing so raise awareness of our work. They also ensure that the thousands of North American visitors to Trust places can make tax-efficient donations.

National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA

The National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA (NTSUSA) enables Americans who love Scotland to support the Trust’s conservation mission. By raising visibility and funding in the United States for the Trust’s important work, NTSUSA and its American donors are helping to protect Scotland’s heritage and natural beauty, now and for generations to come.

NTSUSA offers tax-deductible memberships with benefits that include free entry to all National Trust for Scotland properties, free parking in National Trust for Scotland car parks, worldwide access to places in the care of International National Trusts Organisation (INTO) member organisations, a subscription to a members’ magazine and a copy of a members’ guide to National Trust for Scotland places.

NTSUSA also raises funding for crucial conservation projects across Scotland through an annual appeal, special events, tours, planned giving and individual gifts.

To learn more, join as an NTSUSA member or make a tax-deductible gift, please visit ntsusa.org.

Canadian National Trust for Scotland Foundation

Building on the close relationship between Scotland and Canada, the Canadian National Trust for Scotland Foundation was established in 2009 with one vital purpose: to help Scots-Canadians and Canadians with Scottish heritage to maintain a close connection with Scotland.

Over 4.7 million Canadians list themselves as Scottish in origin. Today, more than ever, Scotland’s heritage needs safekeeping and we look to Scots in Canada who love Scotland and wish to help.

You can now make a tax-deductible donation in Canada to the Canadian National Trust for Scotland Foundation.
