Update to the system of local protection levels in Scotland Read More >
In these challenging times, we are asking our prospective holiday guests to take the time to consider the regulations being imposed in their local authority area and for the area they hope to travel to.

For Scotland - https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-protection-levels/ For the UK - https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Scotland’s five tier system is now live, with different levels of restriction applied to different local authority areas. These restrictions are being updated weekly by the Scottish Government and therefore subject to change.

TRAVEL WITHIN SCOTLAND - If you are based in a Level 3 local authority area (or potentially a Level 4 area), the Scottish Government is asking that you avoid any unnecessary travel outside of your local authority area. Those based in authorities classed at Levels, 0, 1 or 2 should avoid unnecessary travel into all Level 3 or 4 local authority areas. They should only holiday within other local authority areas classed at Levels 0, 1 or 2. Those living in Level 3 areas can still use holiday accommodation within their own local authority area.

TRAVEL FROM OTHER PARTS OF THE UK - With national and regional lockdowns now unfortunately in place, please consider the guidance on the government website relevant to where you live.

Our team are in contact with pre-booked guests: where it looks like restrictions will prevent travel, they are happy to discuss your individual situation with you. Our phones are understandably very busy at the moment, so email is the preferred method of contacting us: holidays@nts.org.uk.

Where it is safe to do so, we want as many guests as possible to enjoy their planned holiday. We have measures in place to ensure that our properties are clean, safe and ready for your arrival. If you are planning on making a new booking please ensure that you have considered the available government guidance so as to avoid the need to cancel - please be aware that the guidance may change weekly. Current UK-wide restrictions still require all parties in holiday accommodation to be of no more than six people from one household (with limited exceptions).

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
