    • Kintail and the surrounding properties of West Affric and the Falls of Glomach provide walkers with a true wilderness experience, enabling the more adventurous walker to explore dramatic mountain landscapes well away from human influences.
    • Kintail has six Munros (mountains over 914m) and three of these are on the famous Five Sisters ridge which forms the south side of Gleann Lichd
    • The Kintail Ranger Service offers a number of outdoor activities, some of which are run out of our own Outdoor Centre. These include sea kayaking taster days, beginner and intermediate sea kayaking courses, low-level guided walks, and high-level guided walks to the Falls of Glomach and across the famous ridge of the Five Sisters of Kintail.

Kintail is a wild landscape with exceptional mountain scenery, which includes the magnificent ridge of the Five Sisters. It consists of montane habitats and species that are typical of the area as well as a coastal fringe where there is considerable evidence of a settled landscape, reflecting people’s use of the area over more than five millennia.
