The tearoom at Kellie Castle is the perfect place for a light lunch or tea and cake. There is both indoor seating in the old kitchen rooms, or enjoy views across the meadow and down to the firth with a table at the front of the castle or in the courtyard.
The tearoom serves a range of hot and cold food options, including soup, scones and a varied cake selection, as well as hot and cold drinks.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options (including gluten-free bread) are always on offer. Please let a member of the team know if you have any dietary requirements when ordering.
At the back of our indoor seating area in the tearoom, we also have a small second-hand bookshop and a children’s play area. You can browse a wide range of titles – including fiction, children’s and non-fiction books – and pick up a great read to enjoy in a quiet corner of the garden! Also, all profits from the book sales go towards our work caring for this beautiful place.
