Step back in time to bustling and turbulent 17th century Edinburgh. Explore Thomas Gladstone’s land to discover the lives of his tenants and experience what life was really like in Edinburgh’s old town 400 years ago. In July and August Gladstone’s Land has extended opening hours until 6.30, with last admission at 6. On Saturdays during July and August, from 12.30-5, visitors can get a flavour of 17th century life with the guides in costume in the display rooms. The costume guides really help to bring the house to life and ensure that visitors have an even better experience. MORE>
