Threave Garden and Estate Bat Walks

Taking place at

Dumfries & Galloway

Date

6 Oct

Details

Join our wildlife guide for a socially distanced bat walk at Threave Garden and explore the nocturnal world of bats. Using bat detectors you can listen to bat calls and learn to recognise different bat species. Bat walks also offer fantastic opportunities to see and hear other nocturnal wildlife such as owls and badgers.

Bat detectors will be sanitised before use and walks will take place in the garden, which has plenty of space to ensure social distancing.

Group sizes will be kept small to ensure social distancing measures can be in place throughout the walk – please book early to secure your place.

Walks are approximately 1.5 hours in duration and are on paths or grass with gentle terrain.
