Details

PlaidSong, based in Perth, are a musical duo who specialise in performing traditional Scots songs and telling the history and story behind the song. They’ve performed across Scotland and recently presented the songs of Lady Nairne at the Caledonian Club in London.

Dr Nicola Small is a professional historian (with a special insight into Jacobite women) working for Culture Perth & Kinross. A regular singer and performer over the years, she now combines her two great passions of history and singing.

Syd House, MBE, is a retired professional forester and a published expert on Scottish plant hunters. Nowadays, his favourite bit of wood is the acoustic guitar with which he accompanies Nicola in song! See plaidsong.co.uk for further information.

Tickets are £15 including an interval drink and snack, or £12 for the concert only. Please book online or in person from the front desk at Leith Hall.

Refreshments will also be available to purchase on the night.

Concert starts at 7pm.
