Newcomers FLAUTH from Germany play folk music from Scotland, Ireland and Eastern Europe as well as their own compositions. They tell stories and create wide beautiful pictures with their fresh approach to traditional music. With their background in folk, baroque and contemporary styles, FLAUTH creates sounds with simple grace and the possibility to dive in a warm deep blue. The young professionals and good friends met in the music conservatoire of Leipzig; when they play together you can witness the expression and deep connection between them and the music they love.

FLAUTH are Babett Niclas playing harp and Barnabas Herrman playing flute, bansuri and percussion.

Tickets are £10 and can be booked online or in person at the front desk at Leith Hall.
