Reversible Cashmere Scarf in Royal Mile Tartan by Johnstons of Elgin
The Royal Mile Reversible Tartan Scarf is woven in the finest cashmere fibres, hand-combed from the under-belly of goats in China and Mongolia where the dramatic highs and lows in temperature help them to grow their beautiful fleece. Cashmere is known for its softness, warmth and lustrous quality, making it the perfect luxury accessory.
Every tartan tells its own story, and the Royal Mile Tartan brings together the gold of Edinburgh Castle at sunset, the charcoal grey of the Royal Mile cobbles, and the red and blue from the royal crest at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The rich red on the reverse of the tartan is a striking contrast and adds to the luxurious feel of this scarf. The design and colours in this tartan have been updated by the designers at Johnstons of Elgin in 2021.
This scarf is part of a brand new collection created exclusively for the National Trust for Scotland by Johnstons of Elgin.
