Cashmere Scarf in Gardens Check by Johnstons of Elgin

The Gardens Inspired Check Scarf is woven in the finest cashmere fibres, hand-combed from the under-belly of goats in China and Mongolia where the dramatic highs and lows in temperature help them to grow their beautiful fleece. Cashmere is known for its softness, warmth and lustrous quality, making it the perfect luxury accessory.

The check of this scarf was inspired by the Flowers & Gardens Tartan which incorporates a pretty design of pinks and greens that are clearly inspired by native plants such as the thistle, and the purple heather that grows in many Trust gardens. The colours and design have been updated by the designers at Johnstons of Elgin in 2021.

This scarf is part of a brand new collection created exclusively for the National Trust for Scotland by Johnstons of Elgin.
