The sea journey to Staffa (from Oban or Mull) can be rather choppy but it’s definitely worth it - this is a great place to visit. It’s another National Nature Reserve and a sanctuary for lots of seabirds. See the puffins between May and August. Check out the amazing basalt columns and famous cave. Staffa has inspired many people including Mendelssohn who composed the Hebrides Overture (Fingal’s Cave). Get inspirational on Staffa!
