Linn of Tummel, Perthshire

Linne means ‘pool' in Gaelic. It's a picturesque place, where the Rivers Garry and Tummel meet. Look out for the early bypass built in 1910 – for fishes. (It helped salmon get round the Falls of Tummel.) There's an obelisk recording Queen Victoria's visit in 1844 - she liked it here too!
