Members’ Centres & Friends’ Groups

Where events and activities are still not possible in person, some groups are hosting activities online, so there are still plenty of opportunities to engage and connect with Scotland’s heritage. Please see the events schedule below for online events and in-person events organised for the coming months.

Run by members for members, our active network of Members’ Centres and Friends’ Groups provides a wide range of vital financial and voluntary support for the Trust. Local supporters come together in celebration of Scotland’s rich heritage, with programmes of interesting events throughout the year.

There are 26 groups based across Scotland, and a further 2 groups meet in England. Some Members’ Centres have now supported us for more than 40 years. In the last year alone, more than £150,000 was donated by Members’ Centres and Friends’ Groups to the Trust.
