Win a cask of Lochlea Single Malt Whisky
Enter todayWin a cask of Lochlea Single Malt Whisky worth £10,000!
This year, we’re inviting you to take part in something special: a prize draw, created in collaboration with Lochlea Distillery, to help us care for the places, collections and stories that make Scotland unique. From 1777–84, Lochlea Farm in the heart of Ayrshire was home to Robert Burns during some of his most formative years. Today, it is an independent and family-owned farm and distillery.
By entering our prize draw, you’ll be in with a chance to win an exclusive whisky cask worth £10,000 (which you’ll personally fill while on a private tour of the distillery) as well as a day pass to Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway.
Like all great whisky, your cask will take time to reach perfection – ten years, to be precise. During this time, Lochlea Distillery will carefully mature and store your cask on your behalf. You’ll be invited to visit your cask once a year and sample its progress along the way. When the time comes, the fully matured whisky will be yours to bottle – whether to savour yourself or to sell on.
Enter today and be in with a chance to win this fantastic prize.

Your support protects Scotland’s natural, built and cultural treasures
Every entry to this prize draw helps us to protect Scotland’s extraordinary heritage, including the legacy of our national bard, Robert Burns.
Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve been able to launch our online Burns Collection, giving unprecedented access to over 2,700 treasured objects and artefacts. We’ve rethatched the roof at Burns Cottage and we’re working to restore the Bachelors’ Club and Souter Johnnie’s Cottage – all key landmarks in Burns’s life. We even celebrated a sold-out run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe of The Burns Project, a theatrical production inspired by the life and works of Robert Burns.
Will you help ensure this work continues for generations to come?
